3. Pop3 and SMTP Servers:
POP3 (used for checking email): yourdomain.com
SMTP (used for sending email): yourdomain.com
** Please note: If you where a hosting customer before October 2001, your mail settings maybe different then what is listed above. Please email our support staff with the email address provider below.
In order to send email through our SMTP server, you will first need to
check your email through our POP3 server (this is a security measure used
for SMTP server authentication). |

Make sure you have uploaded to the correct /httpdocs/ folder (and not
your personal /httpdocs/ folder). This is the case 99% of the time. If you
have confirmed that your website was uploaded to the correct /httpdocs/
folder, then check to see if the default placeholder page (index.html)
is still in place. If so, you need to either remove or overwrite it. |

Make sure you have uploaded to the correct /httpdocs/ folder (and not
your personal /httpdocs/ folder). This is the case 99% of the time. In your
FTP settings or preferences, there should be a variable called
Directory, Remote Directory or Initial Remote Directory. You need to
enter '/httpdocs/' in this field. |
